Even more grievous than political emails masquerading as prophecy is how many Christians have resorted to slander and innuendo to advance their campaign for or against a particular candidate.

well his pastor is a bigot and racist, i hope he became a christian on his own. But i cant believe that a person christian or not supports abortion on demand, stealing money from others and giving to the undeserved. He is friends with Wright, Pfleger, Ayers, Farakhan, Daley, Rezko and Chavez, Castro brothers, Putin, Mahmoud, hamas, Hezbollah, Bin Laden all endorse him. Wonder why they prefer him over McCain?

I remember something I learned from a Christianity Today interview with Fred Rogers, of Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood. His favorite seminary professor pointed out that you can always find Satan in the accusative. Abraham Lincoln faced a dilemma of unprecedented proportions, a civil war. In his second inaugral address he said of both the North and the South the following: “Both read the same Bible, and pray to the same God; and each invokes His aid against the other. It may seem strange that any men should dare to ask a just God’s assistance in wringing their bread from the sweat of other men’s faces; but let us judge not that we be not judged. The prayers of both could not be answered; that of neither has been answered fully.” Enough said, seek God and His righteousness and then model it.

I am happy, excited, overwhelmed and sad all at the same time. It’s strange how we as Americans especially the Evangelicals who remain open to the possiblilty that God can use those things that may seem silly to us to confine the wise. Our Country is doing very bad across the board with our education, our mortages, the stock market, the war which seems to be at no end and our economy. Republicans has had eight years to fix our countries problem and it didn’t work. We are on the brink of financial breakdown which McCain wouldn’t be able to fix or make the promises that he had stated. Further more it will take several terms for our country to get back on top. Because of this I feel Evangelicals who feel they are spiritually motivated doesn’t want to broaden their faith. God promotes those into leadership, promotion comes from the Lord but we won’t submit to God’s choice to follow this man. It isn’t about color its about character. He has displayed the right heart of America and being a POW doesn’t make you more qualified for commander in chief. Obama is what is right for the country and where we are headed. God’s providence is clear in this – God has made his choice through a remarkable 340 collegiate vote. I am not sure if he is going to be able to change all of problems but what we need to do is what McCain said in his speech – “Do whatever we can to support President elected Obama†if we truly believe in this country and have enough faith in Jesus.
