I spent the weekend at the
NY Baptist Convention's Engage Leadership Conference, where I had the privilege of spending five sessions interacting with youth workers from around New York and New Jersey. As promised, here are links to the notes and materials online.
Note to non-Engage participants: The theme of the weekend was leadership development of indigenous leaders, which we explored theologically (the great commission -- "Make disciples" -- as a leadership development mandate); practically (testimonies and case studies in uniquely youth contexts); and as principles.
