By Jeremy | January 10, 2008
First Coalition meeting of 2008: Monday, January 14
What's new at the Coalition for the new year? + NEW Time: 7-9 pm + NEW Location: King's College (Empire State Building, LL Classroom 2) + NEW Agenda: 20/20 Vision for Schools Adopt-a-School has moved to a new level, beyond conceptual and experimental to a scalable, unified movement to reform public education in NYC within a single generation of students called 20/20 Vision for Schools. Joining us for the announcement will be Rev. Gary Frost, Director of Strategic Collaboration for the New York Leadership Center. In his previous role as executive director of the Metropolitan New York Baptist Association, Rev. Frost became the first denominational leader to invest financially in 20/20 Vision when he awarded $100,000 in Paint the Town grants to ten congregations this summer. Learn why 20/20 has captivated his imagination and how your ministry can get involved as well! Familiarize yourself with 20/20 in advance of the meeting with the Tri-State Voice feature here: www.CoalitionNYC.com/2020. Looking forward to Monday!Topics: 2020 vision, adopt-a-school, coalition, schedule | No Comments »
