This last MMMP3 of 2007 isn't a true podcast, nor is it even an mp3.
But it is
video from this morning's sixth annual Interfaith Breakfast hosted by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg at the New York Public Library. While my
dad's been a regular invitee, today was my first. In a remarkably symbolic gathering, guests came from every faith tradition and included former Mayor David Dinkins who joined together to celebrate the City's record low homicides, other steadily declining crime rates, a strong economy, and improving schools. The program featured remarks from the Mayor, music from the Mama Foundation for the Arts Youth Choir, and invocations from
Sheikh Moussa Drammeh (Islamic Cultural Center of North America),
Dr. Uma Mysorekar (Hindu Temple Society of North America), Bishop Nancy Rosario (Church of God's Children),
Bishop Guy Sansaricq (St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church), Myoji Sunim (Korean Buddhism Jogei Zen Temple), and
Rabbi Gerald Sussman (Congregation Temple Emanu-El)

Jeremy, Happy New Year. I hope the experience was a nice once, but Mayor Dinkins was there, he was responsible for allowing the Crown Heights rioters 3 unfettered days to go wild. He said something to the affect “They need to get their rage out” He didn’t send out the police there to arrest people. By far one of the worst mayors ever. Question, Church of God’s Children, who are they?

I would suspect that Mayor Dinkins has some regrets — Crown Heights being one of the most glaring.
As for Church of God’s Children, I don’t know who they are. A cursory Google search didn’t produce any results.
