Diana turned me on to Drs.
Michael Roizen and Mehmet Oz this evening during a Discovery Health, "You: On a Diet"
marathon.
I've been saying pretty much since grad school that I have to start managing my health better. Rather than wait until the New Year to start, I'm going to aim to finish 2007 well en route to a strong 2008. Any takers to join me in the Race to Finish Well?
Blog experiment: respond in the comments and we can figure out a way to hold each other accountable.

What must I do

I am interested in getting healthy with you as well, please keep me informed about what you are going to do. I’ve been blogging about it and maybe we could all update our blogs every week and encourage one another, or just start a new one where we all post how we are doing.

Here’s what I’m thinking so far. Commit to each other to:
1. Visit the “You: On a Diet” website (http://realage.com) and familiarize selves with the recommendations.
2. Take the Real Age Test at the site
3. Commit to the 14-day starters program, then decide whether to complete the 90-days.
4. Bookmark this page and check in every other day with a comment on how we’re doing.
5. Reach out by phone or email if we need encouragement to stay the course.
Does that work?

Hi Jeremy–I also started my road to a better me a few months ago after reading Dr. Oz’s article in O Magazine. I already have a personal trainer and my refrigerator has gone through rehab. My family is on a forced Rehab and I feel dog gone great. I need to lose a whooping 60 pds! My trainer said that half of me is body fat (boy confession time!) so I’m attempting to lose a giant portion of me. I hope to say within a year’s (or sooner) time that I am a fraction of my former self.
