    High praises for the Playbook

    By Jeremy | October 4, 2007

Chris Brooks is wrestling through issues of contextualizing the Gospel for urban campus ministry, and in the process gives a humbling endorsement of the Playbook: A Campus Ministry Primer for Cities, which I collaborated with Student Venture NYC to publish last spring.
The reason the Campus Alliance (and pretty much every other major evangelical movement launched pre-2000) has had a tough time engaging urbanites and especially people of color is a lack of being relevant. Call it a contextualization vacuum. ... The Playbook is a brilliant first step toward the contextualization of the Campus Movement.
Preview the Playbook here, or purchase it online.
