Prayer Alert – Uncle Jorge
By Jeremy | March 20, 2007
UPDATE
- 11:15 pm [From an email from my Aunt Julie]:The operation went very well, thank God. Uncle Jorge is doing pretty good. Everything is under control. He's in a little pain, but that's normal. They finished operating at about 11:10 am and he was in recovery 'til about 5:00pm when they finally transfered him to his room. He slept most of the time but we also got him up and he sat for about an hour and a half. So, praise the Lord. ...[Uncle Jorge (foreground) sharing a laugh with my father and his brothers Michael and David, in Puerto Rico last summer] Uncle Jorge is scheduled to have surgery this morning. Please keep him in your prayers for a successful procedure, speedy recovery, and grace and wisdom for the surgeons throughout the process. Also, thank you for praying for Judah's classmate Tommy. After a battery of tests and an intestinal surgery, he was discharged from the hospital a week or so ago. If all goes well with his recovery, he'll be back in school within the next two weeks.
