    "Obsessive compulsive hard-labor-rewarded good fortune"

    By Jeremy | February 5, 2007

That's what Peter King called the Colts' Super Bowl victory. Other miscellaneous Super Bowl thoughts: A touch of class. How refreshing that the first two Black head coaches to lead their teams to the Super Bowl (in 41 years!) were:
... a page-one story throughout Super Bowl week, discussing daily the laid-back personalities and Christian faith they share, as well as their groundbreaking success. 'I'm proud to be the first African-American coach to win this,' Dungy said during the trophy ceremony. 'But again, more than anything, Lovie Smith and I are not only African-American but also Christian coaches, showing you can do it the Lord's way. We're more proud of that.'
Peyton on handling pressure (and why he may well go down as the greatest QB ever):
"Chuck Noll said, 'Pressure is something you feel only when you don't know what you are doing.' That's how I feel. I get prepared. I prepare as hard as I possibly can. Sure you feel nervous, you feel anxious, but I don't feel pressure because I feel that I have done everything I could to be prepared for that game. There have been plenty of games where I have said that I wish that I could have this throw back or I wish that I would have seen that linebacker, but it just didn't happen. But I have never left the field saying I could have done more to get ready for that game. That gives me peace of mind.''
Prince reigned at halftime despite the rain. One of the best halftime shows in recent memory. In a year of middling commercials, this one was best (Grand Theft Coke). This list captures the best of the rest. It's nice to get the monkey of woefully inept sports predictions off my back. Beware haters: that means the Yankees are back in business! There's gonna be a run on whatever genetically modified turf was at Dolphins Stadium last night. To weather that amount of rain and the pounding of a championship football game and the commotion of halftime and the post game festivities and still look that good after four hours is nothing short of a minor miracle. credit card accept transactionamazon credit card accountbad mortgage credit 2nd for loanspress accreditationprices accredited stock0 transfer card balance credit2007 credit tax proposed 2000.00 childaccredited degrees university Map
