    Affordable Health Care, Part 2

    By Jeremy | December 8, 2006

In response to this, CCDA's Executive Director Gordon Murphy emailed me the following (reproduced with permission):
Warm greetings, Jeremy. CCDA has an alliance with Christian Brotherhood Newsletter which is not technically insurance rather is health care reimbursement plan. A number of CCDA ministries use the CBN plan. At least two board members use the plan, including your buddy Shane. I've attached the CCDA recommendation for consideration. Also, their website is http://www.christianbrotherhood.org. I'd recommend you at least review the offer and be sure to let them know about your CCDA affiliation as they will offer a higher level of service for the mid level cost. Murph
I posted the CCDA recommendation online here.

I know of a few who use CBN too and it works well. The money goes to the need and massive premiums don’t end up in a portfolio somewhere. It is very doable and also try partnering it with a Medical Savings Account.
The program our family is on ends in a year and these two products together looks like what we are considering.
