- Jim Wallis‘ invitation to get arrested for praying for poor people and against systemic poverty (more later).
- Ray Bakke’s Gospel according to Iraq and Iran (more later).
- Boarding with and co-presenting a “Next Generation Leader Conversation†with Rudy.
- Pinch-hitting for Rudy to co-present “City Blogging†workshop with new friend Neil Cox.
- Hanging out and catching up with CoCo, Noel Castellanos, Lisa Cummins, Dr. Louis Carlo, Jose Humphreys, Dr. Ray Rivera, Steven Rivera, Phil Jackson, Glen Kleinknecht, Ted Gandy, Shuree Jennings, Flo, the entire staff of UYWI, Paul Baker, Andrew Sears, Hans Tokke, Tali Hairston, Michael and Tina Mata, and dozens of other friends.
- Meeting Dr. John Perkins (picture coming soon), Dr. Wayne Gordon, Dr. Gordon Murphey, Shane Claiborne, and the other CCDA board members.
- Meeting Gini from the Devos Foundation.
- Meeting “virtual friends†Bob and Jill Campbell and Glen Peterson. I especially enjoyed having lunch with the Campbells and being able to thank them in person for their kindness this summer in hosting Nonna’s Powerpoint online for the family.
