Why isn’t this being reported more?

    By Jeremy | September 7, 2005

"What the state was doing, I don't freakin' know. But I tell you, I'm pissed, it wasn't adequate."
According to Mayor Ray Nagin of New Orleans, on the day the levees broke, he met with President Bush and the governor of Louisiana on Air Force One. The President offered to authorize federal relief on the spot, but the governor declined, saying she needed 24 hours to decide. Video here: Nagin still outspoken (4:17, at appx. 2:00).
