- Obama: Answers rest in our laboratories and with our entrepreneurs. He sounds like a capitalist. #
- Obama: Three areas vital to economic future: energy, health care, and education. #
- Very curious to see how we pay for nationalized health care. More debt for my children, and theirs. #
- Education reform: now he’s speaking my language. #
- Obama will expand charter schools. Unions be forewarned. #
- Dropping out of high school is quitting on your country. That’s a rationale rarely heard on the streets. #
- “By 2020 America will once again have the highest proportion of college graduates in the world.” I can think of a few additional 2020 goals #
- “We have already identified $2 Trillion in savings.” Huh?!?! #
- (It’s tough twittering a speech with an uncharacteristically fussy infant.) #
- “We are not quitters.” Props to the student who inspired a President. #
- “Every American … loves this country and wants it to succeed.” I hope so, but I know a few whose intentions appear suspect. #
- Regardless of policy disagreements with the President, it’s fun that he has returned political oratory to pop consciousness. #
- Please keep Judah in prayer. 7am appt @ Methodist Hospital for ear surgery (tubes). #
- Mornings get rougher when u can’t remember where you parked. #
- Despite the nerves, Judah has been so brave. I’m so proud of him. Waiting… #
- “Dad, I wish you were my doctor and you could do my medical procedures.” #
- “This is the dorkiest outfit I ever saw.” #
- He’s always been a great sick. Today he’s been so brave. He’s with the dr now. #
- Mission accomplished. With him in recovery now. Thank you, Jesus. #
- Music to our ears: Judah saying, “I can hear you. I GOT TUBES!” #
- @peterong This isn’t Lent specific, but “Five Dysfunctions of a Team” is a great read & depending on what you’re fasting may be appropriate. in reply to peterong #
