    You gotta go …

    By Jeremy | April 3, 2007

... have an Encounter. It's where head meets heart and uncovers truth that sets men free. Thoughts, testimonies and more to come. For now, pictures: One quickie: God has a sense of humor assigning me, first, to the Intercessory Prayer Team -- not exactly a natural gifting -- and second, the 3-6 am prayer shift. 3-6. AM! Me?!?!?! Yes! God stretched me from 3-6 am, and -- shock and awe -- I actually enjoyed it. Even better was seeing prayers answered ... in real time ... before the weekend was over. Seriously. More of that to come. Thanks again to Pastor Vin and Pastor Bill from WOCIC, Pastor Jesse of Freedom Center, the relentlessly generous hospitality of WOCIC's staff and servers, and my cousins Steven and Sudie and Shayla Brattli for being such gracious hosts. If you find yourself in the Sarasota/Bradenton area, two must stops to insure a refreshing time: WOCIC and Vintage Salon and Spa.

Hey Jeremy, I have something funny to share with you. I forgot my alarm clock this weekend but I thought, with all the other servers in our room, surely one of them has an alarm and I’ll awake when they awake. Well you got up one night and, when I heard you, I also got up and began getting ready. But I didn’t realize you were on the 3 AM shift … aaaggghhh! Problem is once I’m up I’m up … messed me up that day. Taught me 1) don’t forget my clock and 2) don’t put Jeremy on the prayer team. We love you man!!!! Blessings, PV

Glad you learned your lesson(s). Heh. Thanks again, and sorry for the — ahem — inconvenience. ;)

The story plots from the weekend will be with me forever….absolutely awesome….it’s great to be in the orchestra where God serves as the Maestro! Give Matt a hug and pass on my contact info….all the love, Bill
