Eric Metaxas' book about the greatest world changer the world has forgotten, William Wilberforce, is once again on the
NYT Best Sellers list (4 weeks in a row!) and it seems to be building steam judging from the growing media coverage. I just received my copy of the book, and I promise a real review ... soon.

I saw Metaxes at a book review in San Francisco. He spoke with David Batsotone who just wrote a book on modern slavery. I was impressed with the presentations of both authors. I blogged about it here: http://norcalurban.blogspot.com/2007/02/update.html.
I’m about 1/3 into the book. It’s really good so far. Well written, good historical overview without getting bogged down. Christian in focus but not preachy… good stuff. Looking forward to your comments.
