I am sorry to hear about your loss. I just lost my mother on Memorial Day. What struck me most about your post is that your abuelo lasted longer than the specialists predicted. It was very similar to my mother's situation. She lasted nearly a month longer than what her doctors said. There are few words of comfort, but you can be proud that your abuelo--like my mother--fought until the very end. My sympathy and condolences are with you. As I sit in my home office in Seattle WA and look through the picture and watched the video, I smiled and cried and mourned for the man I am related to and will never meet.
